The Dark Knight

Ok guys, so if you are in love with Batman like I obviously am, this is THE MOVIE RELEASE OF THE YEAR!!

The Dark Knight engages you right from the word go (especially if you happen to be sitting in the front row!) with the action packed introduction of the infamous villain The Joker. This follows on from Batman Begins, where we can remember Batman being shown The Joker's calling card by (then) Leiutenant Gordon. In The Dark Knight, we see Gotham in a state of turmoil and chaos, as organised crime is taking over. Gotham has also just found a new District Attorney, one Harvey Dent. He quickly wins Batman and the Gotham city residents trust, and takes a bold strike against the mob. This is when we really start to see the action! The war between The Joker and his mob, and Batman and the Gotham PD is on. Futhermore, we see the making of one of Batman's other foes, and for you Batman nerds out there, you've probably already realised who I'm talking about.

I won't give away too much of the plot, but be sure that it is full of suspense; I thought the movie was going to end three times before it actually did! Action levels are right up there with Batman Begins, and the performances by Heath Ledger and Christian Bale are mesmerising, and in the case of The Joker, absolutely creepy!

Unfortunately, the direction by Christopher Nolan isn't as mystically dark and cool as those directed by Tim Burton, but Nolan still does a top job in making this movie a quality watch and quite proffessionally directed.
So go and see this movie ASAP!
I guarantee that you'll enjoy it, whether you are a Batman fan or not! Just keep in mind, the movie is rated M, it contains violence and some scariness!

Let me know what you guys think of it in the comments below!
Catch,
Nick

We saw it last night and all I can say is .... Wow......

Everytime I thought they were coming to the end, they added another twist.

It was dark, but in a different way to Tim Burton's Batman movies.

I thought it went long, but that wasn't bad. I thought Heath Ledger stole the show as the Joker. Its worth seeing it for his performance alone.

Well worth the price of a movie ticket.

We went and saw the movie last Sunday, it was great.
Constant action
Heath Ledger played the best bad guy... He will be sadly missed..
It has left the role of Joker very hard to fill if they go on with a follow up to this movie.
